Physiotherapy – Isabel Rogers MCSP MHPC

Isabel Rogers

BSc With honours in Physiotherapy. Member of the chartered society of physiotherapists (MCSP) and registered with the Health and Care professions council (HCPC).

My interest in Physiotherapy started when I suffered a knee injury which prevented me from competing and training in Athletics as a teenager. Throughout the help of a physiotherapist I returned to Athletics and went on to represent at an international level in Long Jump. It is this that inspired me to want to provide this chance to others. I view a person as a whole unit, not individual muscles/joints/bones, and I believe everyone has an optimal performance level, and with Physiotherapy, this is achievable. My combined interest in both training and Physiotherapy has enabled me to develop as a professional, and provide a service which suits every athlete.

Professional Work:

I was given a brilliant opportunity to work with The Brathay 10 Marathons in 10 days, whereby I was on call 24 hours to work with some amazing ultra marathon runners, managing existing and new injuries to enable them to continue their gruelling challenge.
